Saint-Sulpice Antiquaires

Tis the season of brocante and antique shopping in Paris.  In the grand Saint-Sulpice square, in the historic area of Saint-Germain, an excellent brocante and antique display will occur through June 14, everyday starting at 11:00 and lasting through the evening until 8:00 p.m.  As this is just before the summer solstice, it stays light out until after 10:00 p.m., and so it is a perfect venue to go to and then sit at a nearby cafe afterwards, for a drink or light dinner.

Nearby cafes include Les Deux Magots, and Brasserie Lipp.  For a snack, such as a croissant or out-of-this-world macarons, try Gerard Mulot or Pierre Herme.  All are within walking distance of Place Saint-Sulpice.
