From October 20-24, this premier chocolate festival, Salon du Chocolate, at Port de Versailles should not be missed by anyone who loves chocolate.   All of the prestigious chocolatiers will be at this event, and a kids workshop and exhibition is held everyday from 10 am-7 pm.  Every year my kids would go and come back with chocolate smeared on their faces, and bags of chocolate goodies to last a month, which perfectly coincides with Halloween.

The best event is the Children’s Workshop, which occurs every day from 11-7.  Tthe Chocoland area welcomes children from 4 to 10 years to participate in a fun and festive culinary design workshop.

In the world of Chocoland, the child becomes a real chef, complete with chef’s hat and apron.

Children create their own decorations and to invent highly personal works, before devouring them!
