Best Restaurants In Paris — Le Relais de L’Entrecote

Steak and frites, salade verte, Vin de Bordeaux, and waitresses in black and white chamber maid uniforms — this is all standard fare at Le Relais de L’Entrecote.  In fact, the menu choices are simple:  how do you want your steak cooked (a point or saignant), and what do you want to drink.   Then the waitresses first bring you your salade verte and, after, your steak cooked perfectly and seasoned with a special sauce and golden hot frites, served from a silver platter.  The best part is that you get two servings, each, for one great price for salad, steak and frites.

Classic desserts are additional, and the profiteroles are exceptional.  Lunch or dinner for two, with a bottle of wine, is about 100 Euros — a bargain for a top steak place in Paris.  Le Relais de L’Entrecote has several locations, with top destinations off of Saint Germain des Pres and near Avenue George V.  No reservations accepted.

I want to taste their classic desserts. Maybe they are serving my long-craved one. I forgot the name of that but I just know how it looked. I cannot forget the dessert because I was with my most favorite grandmother when I ate that.
