Au Roi du Café

If you are seeking an affordable evening meal in a great location, then look no further than Au Roi du Café on Rue Lecourbe. The bistro offers a concise yet varied menu of main courses  including traditional favourites as well as daily specials, most of which are priced at 11 euros. The desserts are also sublime and all food is served by a friendly staff. I recommend the salmon dish and the tiramisu.

This establishment is a particular favourite of mine because it not only offers beautiful food, but a brilliant cocktail menu too, meaning that you can drop in during happy hour or meet friends for a late evening drink. The location means that you can stroll up the Avenue de Breteuil towards the Hotel des Invalides afterwards- perfection.
